Professional Career

With such an impressive college career, Khalil Mack got into the NFL as the 5th overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, selected by the Oakland Raiders, which placed him in front as the earliest selected Buffalo Bulls football team player ever.

The defensive end from Fort Pierce got off to an impressive start in his rookie season with the Raiders – he played all 16 games in the 2014 season after which he finished as the third-best Defensive Rookie of the year at the heels of Aaron Donald and C. J. Mosley of the St. Louis Rams and Baltimore Ravens respectively. In the 2015 season, Khalil Mack made the AP All-Pro First Team at two different positions in the season – linebacker and right defensive end.
