Kyla Alissa Pratt was born in Los Angeles, California United States of America, on the 16th of September 1986. She began her foray into the world of acting at the young age of eight(8). Her first gig was in commercials for Nike and an interactive computer game. Her next appearance was witnessed in the television series, Walker Texas Ranger: The Neighborhood. For her professional acting studies, she enrolled with actors such as Candace Lifson, Cherish Lee, Emile Hirsch and Zoma Crum at the prestigious Hamilton Academy of Music located in Los Angeles.
Kyla Pratt soon became a favored act to be featured in both guest appearances as well as recurring roles on television series. Some of these series include; Sister-Sister, Family Matters, The Parkers, Smart Guy, Lizzie McGuire, Moesha.
