Kylian Mbappé Lottin was born on 20 December 1998, in Paris, France. He began playing football as a little child and began his career at AS Bondy, a club where his father served as a youth coach. He made a trip to West London to try out for Chelsea, however, he made up his mind to stay close to home by choosing Monaco. She is named Fayza Lamari and hails from Alegria, making Mbappe of Camorunian and Algerian descent which explains his huge fan following from African nations.

Mbappe donated his entire £384,000 World Cup salary to a sports charity. His chosen charity named Premiers de Cordee works with disabled and hospitalized children.
