She explained that back in college, she knew she had the talent for teaching others about fashion and also giving out fashion tips, but needed a platform to communicate with her audience, thus, she did some research on Google on how to create a website which led her to WordPress. Through WordPress, she created her first blog called Desire and Inspire, where she posted photos of different steps to help walk her readers through her fashion guide.
Lauren Riihimaki needed to further illustrate these tips and guide in more practical and most efficiently using videos, which led her into creating a channel on YouTube. According to her, her initial aim was to make the videos and upload them on YouTube before transferring them to her blog, but she was shocked to the marrow by the number of views and number of subscribers her videos and channel was garnering.
