At the start of her career, Leven Rambin showed all the signs of going ahead to become an A-list Hollywood actress. This was as a result of her role as two characters in the long-running ABC soap opera All My Children. While the prediction of many people about her career has not come to pass yet, the Texas native has been able to hold her own as she has been able to land roles in a few big-budget films over the years. Leven Rambin’s Bio

On the 17th of May, 1990, in Houston, Texas, Joseph Howard Rambin III and his wife Karen Stacy Guthrie welcomed a daughter named Leven Alice Rambin to the world. Not much is know about her childhood, however, she is known to have had a huge interest in the performing arts, prompting her to perform in school plays as a schoolgirl.

According to the record books, Leven Rambin went on to attend the Houston School of Film and Theatre and St. Francis Episcopal Day School where she continued to hone her craft. She later also enrolled at the Texas Tech University Independent School District to get her high school diploma.

Acting Career

Prior to her pursuing her high school diploma, Leven Rambin moved to New York in order to launch her acting career. Luck seemed to have been on her side as she almost immediately bagged her first acting role in All My Children (2004-2010), playing the character Lily Montgomery. She would later also get to play the role of Ava Benton, the look-alike older half-sister of the character she was initially cast to portray in the same show.

After having guest appeared in a few TV shows like Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2007) and Lipstick Jungle (2008), Rambin got her feature film debut in Gigantic (2008). Around this time, she bagged recurring cast roles in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (2008-2009) and Grey’s Anatomy (2009-2010), appearing in ten and five episodes respectively.

In 2010, Leven Rambin landed a main cast role in the ABC television series, Scoundrels. She followed that up with appearances in shows like Wizards of Waverly Place (2011), where she played the character of Rosie, CSI: Miami (2011) where she played Milly Sloan, and One Tree Hill (2011) where she played Chloe Hall. Her performances in these roles helped convince director Gary Ross that she was the best person to play the character Glimmer in the sci-fi adventure film, Hunger Games (2012).

Following her performance and the success of Hunger Games, Rambin became somewhat of a sensation as other movie roles began to come her way. She has gone ahead to appear in films like Chasing Mavericks (2012), Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters (2013), Two Night Stand (2014), and I Am Michael (2015).

In recent time, Leven Rambin can be seen in TV shows like The Path (2017) and Gone (2017), as well as movies like Lost Child (2018) and The Dirth (2019).

Leven Rambin’s Parents, Siblings

As mentioned above, Leven Rambin was born to Joseph Howard Rambin III and Karen Stacy Guthrie. Not much is not about her mother in comparison to her father who is influential in the real estate business. He is famously the co-founder of the largest owned commercial real estate firm in Houston, Moody Rambin Real Estate.

Rambin has a total of three siblings; brothers – Joseph and Jay and sister – Mary. While she shares both parents with her brother Joseph, she only shares one parent with her other older half-siblings.

Family

Leven Rambin was previously married to actor, Jim Parrick. The All My Children actress began dating the True Blood actor in early 2014, just after he had separated from his wife, actress, and filmmaker Ciera Danielle. In June 2014, Danielle and Parrick finalized divorce proceedings, giving room for he and Rambin to get engaged two months later on August 2014.

About a year later, on October 10, 2015, the pair exchanged vows at a private and intimate ceremony in Texas to become man and wife. Their marriage, however, only went on to last for about two years as it was reported that they parted ways in mid-2017. At the request of the actress, an annulment was granted and the marriage was dissolved. Following much speculation as to the reason why the marriage ended, Rambin revealed that Parrick was abusive and also a cheat.
