It’s not surprising to see a list of child actors and what they look like in recent times. Fans of different series, films, etc. usually love to see what their darling child character has grown into. Lovers of the 1989 kidult thriller drama, Strangers should be very familiar with Zane and Emma as played by Martin Henderson and Hamish McFarlane.
Interestingly, the Peter Sharp directed film was a debut for 13-year-old Martin who would go on to act in several other movies and get nominated for the following awards:

Martin Henderson Bio (Age)
On the 8th of October 1974, one of the baby boys born in Auckland, New Zealand was named Martin Henderson. Martin attended Birkenhead Primary school and had his high school education at Westlake Boys’ High School in Forrest Hill, Auckland, New Zealand.
At an early age, he discovered his flair for acting as he walked off the stage of a school play. In his 4th grade, he made his official acting debut in Strangers which was a production for local television. When he played the role of Stuart Neilson in a TV series called Shortland Street, Martin might not have seen it coming but the series which ran from 1992 to 1995 made him a local star. It also opened up bigger opportunities for him.
He made his way to Australia where he acted in Sweat and Echo Point and also met fellow young Actor, Heath Ledger. The duo became friends, moved to Sydney, became housemates, and continued their acting careers. Sadly, Heath died in 2008 at age 28 due to a cardiac arrest caused by prescription drug intoxication. He won several awards alive and also posthumously.
Martin got his first nomination for the 1999 movie, Kick in 2000. As a means of advancing his acting skills, he left for New York where he enrolled and took a course in acting and theatre. After staying a year (2000) with no acting roles, he landed a supporting cast in Windtalkers as directed by John Woo. By 2005, he was cast in Bride & Prejudice as well as Little Fish which went on to win several awards. Lovers of Grey’s Anatomy met and fell in love with his character, Nathan Riggs when he got added in season 12. Prior to that, he had worked on series such as Off the Map (2011).
The most recent work of this New Zealand Actor is the 2018 movies: The Strangers: Prey at Night, Juveniles, and Hellbent. He is also known for his roles in Smokin’ Aces (2006), Mr. and Mrs. Smith (2007), Cedar Boys (2009), Devil’s Knot (2013), Everest (2015), and several others.

Martin Henderson has had several relationships in the past with some being mere rumors. He is said to have dated Marnette Patterson, an American Actress who is now happily married to James Verzino and has 2 kids with him. In 1994, it was said that Martin and Nicky Watson, also an Actress, had good times together as well. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Radha Mitchell, and Demi Moore were also supposed girlfriends of the handsome actor.
Late last year (2017), he officially introduced Helen Randag as his ‘bae’ in an Instagram post. She is a movie producer, director, writer, and patron of the arts. Helen who was previously married was also the recipient of the Prince Wales Medal for Arts Philanthropy in 2010, the youngest person to ever receive that award. Although the couple is still together, they are unmarried as of October 2018.
Martin was born to Veronica Henderson (his mother) and Ian Henderson (his father). There is not much information readily available about them but we do know that they got divorced when Martin was only five. His mum continued to support his goals and was there for him at a time he thought to quit. Martin has one brother, his only sibling. The actor is always proud of his background and accent, he always gives due credit to his upbringing.
