The dashing actor was born in Washington D.C  U.S.A on November 16, 1977. His love for acting is said to have started at an early age but it was during his teenage days that he landed his first acting role in a television show La Otra Osa. He later moved to Los Angeles to study acting at Joanne Baron Studio and upon completion, he was given a minor role in the American movie Message in a Bottle where he played the role of a mail boy. His professional acting commenced in 1998 when he starred as the lead actor named Santiago Berriozabal in the Mexican film Azul Tequila and the next year he also landed another role in the film Háblame de Amor.

The actor has over the years been able to exert some level of influence not only in American or Mexican movies but also in Spanish movies too. His films include the 2003 Ladies’ Night, A la mala released in 2015, and Hazlo Como hombre in 2017. Among the long list of tv series, Mauricio Ochmann had featured in are big-screen series like Como en el cine in which he played the main role of Javier, he was also in the series Miranda de Mujer el regreso, Amarte as Frijolito, Marina, and Dame Chocolate. However, the actor is said to have stopped starring in the series Marina and Dame Chocolate due to some addiction problems he was battling with. Mauricio Ochmann was in the series Rosa diamante between 2012 and 2013  then moved to the series El Senor de los Cielos in which he played numerous roles that landed him a Telemundo award in 2015  for Best Bad Boy. He played the male role in the film El Chema as Jose Maria which aired from 2016 to 2017. Mauricio Ochmann is also known for his appearance in the sitcom Easy released in 2016 where he played the role of Martin.

Who Are His Parents?

The telenovela star did not have the privilege of being raised nor meeting his biological parents as he was adopted by a couple named Maria and Guillermo but the pair divorced along the way which resulted to Ochmann’s adopted mother Maria relocating to Mexico with him. She later started a new relationship with a German man named Thomas Ochmann whose surname the actor bears currently. He is said to have been raised by Maria alongside her other children named Thomas, Christian, and Paulo.

Mauricio Ochmann is the husband of the Mexican model and actress Aislinn Derbez with whom he co-starred in the film A La Mala in which he played the role of Santiago. The pair tied the knot on May 28th, 2016 at a marriage ceremony held in Mexico. They have a lovely daughter named Kailani which is a unique Hawaiian named that the couple chose as a reminder of the amazing trip to Hawaii they had which led to the birth of their lovely daughter as revealed by Aislinn on her Instagram page.

Prior to his present marriage, the talented actor had been married to Maria Jose del Valle Prieto back in 2008 and they have a daughter named Lorenza Ochmann. The pair separated privately as no details nor reasons have been released as the cause of their divorce.
