Who Is Jae Park?
Jae Park is a young Korean-American singer and songwriter best known as a member of the South Korean boy band, Day6. His real name is Park Jae-Hyung, and he was born in Argentina. Jae was just five years old when his parent took him back to South Korea and he lived there for just two years before moving yet again to Cerritos, a suburban city in Los Angeles County, California. There, he attended Cerritos High School and after graduation, he was able to enrol at California State University, where he studied political science.
Jae has dual nationality from Korea and America, he was born into a Christian family and has an older sister whose name is not yet known. His Career
As one who loves to make an impact through his musical talent, Jae Park officially began his singing career while at the Long Beach campus of the California State University. He participated in the K-pop Star preliminary audition, a South Korean reality Television competition series meant to search for the next potential K-Pop stars. Jae was one of the six contestants who made it to the final list. They were later signed by the JYP Entertainment, forming their first rock band named Day6. Afterwards, Jae moved to South Korea with his parents.

In 2015, Jae Park officially became a member of JYP Entertainment’s rock band Day 6. He was the band’s electric guitarist and vocalist. Also included on the team is Park Sungjin, the band’s lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist; Kang Young Hyun (Brian Kang) a rapper bassist and lead vocalist; Kim Won Pil (Wonpil) synthesizer, keyboardist and visual and Yoon Do Woon (Dowoon) the band’s drummer and maknae. Junhyeok was the sixth member of the band but he left the group in February 2016.
Jae and the Day6 made their debut on September 7, 2015, with The Day as the band’s first mini album. The band’s second EP, Daydream, was released the following year and Jae Park was involved in the production of two of the album’s songs First Time and Blood. Many more tracks followed and Jae was effectively involved in producing them. The band eventually released its first full-length album, Sunrise, on the 7th of June 2017 and it has 14 tracks including Lean on Me, and I Smile. In November 2018, Jae Park went with other band members on their first world tour which they tagged ‘Youth’. The tour continued through January 2019.
