Misa Campo – Biography
Misa, as she is popularly called by friends and fans, was born on 23rd January 1987 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She is of Filipina descent from her father’s side and Dutch from her mom’s side.
Growing up, Misa moved around a lot due to the fact that her father lived in California while her mom was in Montreal. As a result of this, she shared her time between California and Montreal. She is well-educated; after she completed her basic education, Misa decided to pursue a career in modeling. Although she was said to have once been expelled from high school, she enrolled in another school and later graduated with a decent grade.
Career
Misa first started her career as a bartender at the exclusive jet and system nightclub in Montreal. While she was working there, her boss noticed her long legs and slender body and encouraged her to try her luck in modeling. Going into modeling, Misa worked for one of the biggest sports car shows in Canada; Montreal’s racing car show sport compact performance. Her modeling career took a boost in 2006 when she won the Miss Rocawear beauty pageant.
Misa would then move to California after that and continued working as a bartender in Los Angeles while still hunting for better modeling opportunities. Her star shone in September of the same year (2006) when she got featured on Maxim magazine as one of the ‘Show us something’ girls. After this, she got spots on different other magazines including Uno, Version C models magazine, and DSports. Amazingly, in December 2006, Misa Campo won the model of the month for the December issue of the Dsports magazine.
