Mitchell Trubisky is an NFL quarterback who plays for the Chicago Bears. Before he was drafted by the Bears in 2017, he played for the University of North Carolina football team where he was projected to be a first-round pick by the majority of scouts and analysts. In manning the offense position and starting the game a number of times, Mitchell has not failed to deliver his best which has made his team and fans proud of him.
Mitchell Trubisky Biography
Born on August 20, 1994, in Mentor, Ohio, the United States, Mitchell’s football career started in high school. He played for the Cardinals football team of Mentor High School during which he received the Ohio Mr. Football Award in 2012 as the best high school football player in the state.
He moved to the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill where he played as a backup to starter Marquise Williams in 2014 having redshirted in his freshman year but was soon to take over the starting quarterback position in his junior year in 2016 recording 3,748 passing yards with 30 touchdowns and six interceptions at the end of the season. Following a successful junior season, he was named a member of the third-team All-ACC (Atlantic Coast Conference).
NFL Career
Mitchell opted to give up his final year of college eligibility declaring instead for the 2017 NFL Draft. He was projected to be a first-round pick by the majority of scouts and analysts and ranked in the top four quarterbacks by media publications, he was, however, drafted second overall by the Chicago Bears. He is nicknamed “Mr Biscuit” as a play on his name instead, Mitchell Trubisky.
Mitchell had an impressive preseason record as the third-highest passer rating of the 29 quarterbacks with at least 50 passes but was named the backup to Mike Glennon for the regular season. Shortly after, he took over from Glennon in the 5th week starting on his way to playmaker exploits in the “ball pit”.
Prior to the end of the season finale, in a game against the Cleveland Browns, he threw 193 yards in a 20-3 victory, which hiked his season passing yard to 2, 015, the most by a rookie in Bears history. He ended his rookie season with the most yards ran by a Bears quarterback since 2003, 248 yards.
Family
He was born to sports-loving folks, Dave and Jeanne Trubisky. Mitchell, fondly called Mitch by fans, families, and friends is the first of four children who play a variety of sports. His three brothers, including Manning and Mason, play football and basketball for Mentor High School and his sister, Mariah, played basketball for Mentor High before she proceeded to Ohio University.
Sports have always had a way of integrating the Trubisky family. His parents met as flag football teammates in college at the University of Akron. While Dave, a standout high school quarterback was a three-star athlete as well, Jeanne participated in four in high school. The folk’s history with athletics makes it a bit of a task in deciding who the kids got their athleticism from. Though his mom takes the credit, Mitch gives it to his father who he said taught him everything he knows about the game he plays but not without mentioning that the game come naturally to him through good gene from both parents.

Fans, you would agree, deserve to know the information they seek about their personality of choice.
