Nathan Kress is an American actor and director best known for his role in the Nickelodeon series, iCarly. On the show, he played Freddie Benson, one of the main characters and best friend of the titular ‘Carly’. The show was created by Dan Schneider and aired on Nickelodeon. It ran from 2007 till 2012 and focused on Carly Shay – a teenager who creates a very popular web show called iCarly with her best friends – Sam and Freddie.
