Nick Wright will not be a name not known or an unrecognized face for someone who follows sports in the United States. Wright is a sports commentator who has hosted both radio and TV sport shows including First Things First which he still co-hosts on FS1. Here is all you want to know about him.
Nick Wright Bio and Age
It was on October 3, 1984, that Nick Wright was born in the United States. Even though it is no secret that he grew up in Kansas City, the earliest parts of his life have been overshadowed by the success of his later life. Before then, however, he attended and graduated from Syracuse University where he obtained a degree in broadcast journalism.
Nick began his career since he was still a college student when he worked with WAER 88.3 FM where he hosted a number of shows. He also worked with Kansas City’s KCSP 610 AM where he worked as a production assistant before moving on to start hosting his own show, the What’s Right with Wright.
From here, he would go on to spend the next four years with Houston’s KILT 610 AM where he would begin building a solid name for himself as a host of the In the Loop with Nick and Lopez. It was after he was done here that he moved to Fox Sports where he went on to co-host “The Hard with Colin Cowher”. He would also co-host First Things First with Chris Carter and Jenna Wolfe.
The sports opinion-based show which started airing in 2017 air at 6:30 am ET. According to Carter, the show will not be a debate show, but instead, they would find stress points and make a compelling presentation from such.
While working with the Kansas City’s KCSP 610 AM, Nick who was polarising and still very popular with fans was named the best sports personality in 2010 by The Pitcher.
Wife, Son, and Family
As a result of the very private life that he lives, there is nothing much that is known about the family he came from or if he has any siblings. However, it is known that he is married to Danielle Wright. The two have a rather interesting love story. They met in 2007 when according to Nick, his life was sloping down the wrong path and he was depressed.
Soon after he met her, love happened and he asked her out. Interestingly enough, Danielle would come to the first date with her two children. A bond between them all was instantly created and this translated to a marriage between Nick and Danielle in 2013.
Soon after the marriage, Nick adopted Danielle’s son, Dason Damonza, and daughter Diorra as his children. The next member of the family is Deanna who was born in October 2013. According to Nick Wright, his family has been able to not just change his life, but also save him entirely and because of that, he always gets very emotional on father’s day most especially knowing that he may not be able to repay them for what they have been able to do in his life.

Wright has once described his father, Louie Wright, as a firefighter. However, he was as at 2012, actually the president of the Kansas City firefighters union. The Pitch noted that although Nick made it seem like his father spent his time in the firefighting pants, he is not exactly a firefighter as he was the head of Kansas City’s most powerful union.

Although there is not much that is known about his family as pointed out, The Pitcher also pointed out that his mother is Charlene Wright. She was said to have worked as an attorney for Shook Hardy & Bacon, that was as of 2015.
Although Louie Wright and Charlene used to be married, they got separated sometime in the 2000s after which Louie went on to marry Melinda.
