The group is made up of seven sensational music talents who specialize in K-pop music. They have been around since 2015 when they debuted with the release of their first mini-album, Oh My Girl. The group has gained popularity around Korea and beyond with its melodious voices and skillful dance moves.
Oh, My Girl is said to be the sister group to the boy’s band and label mate, B1A4. B1A4 is a boy’s group that was created by WM Entertainment and debuted on April 23, 2011. When Did Oh My Girl Debut?
The pre-debut days of Oh My Girl as a group is not documented like its contemporaries. The group came to spotlight in March 2015 when WM Entertainment announced the members of the group. This was also the time when images of the members began to surface and a month later, April 20, 2015, the group debuted their first EP titled Oh My Girl.
They released Closer which was their second EP on October 7, 2015, and promoted its lead single (titled Closer) in various music shows. Oh My Girl began the following year, 2016, with another EP titled, Pink Ocean. Altogether, the group has released six EPs. They have also released two Japanese albums such as Oh My Girl Japan Debut Album and Oh My Girl Japan 2nd Album. They also have a Korean album titled The Fifth Season.

Hyojung
Hyojung was born Choi Hyo-jung on July 28, 1994, in Yangyang, Gangwon, South Korea. Her parents moved to Thailand when she was a few weeks old. She lived there until she was six. And although the identities of her parents are not known, we know that she was raised by her mother when her father passed away. For her body measurement, she is 5ft3 and weighs 48kg.
She began her career as a trainee with Soul Shop Entertainment. She later trained with WM Entertainment for 6 months before her debut with Oh My Girl. She is the crew’s leader and main vocalist.
Mimi
Mimi was born May 1, 1995, in Jeju Island, South Korea as Kim Mi-hyun. There is no information concerning her childhood, parents or siblings available to the public. The star weighs 52kg and stands at a height of 5 feet 4 inches. She was a trainee for over two years before debuted with her group. She is the group’s main dancer, main rapper and vocalist.
YooA
YooA was born Yoo Yeon-joo on September 17th, 1995 in Seoul, Gyeonggi, South Korea. She legally changed her name to Yoo Shi-ah. And although her family details are obscure, it is known that she has a famous brother named Junsun who works as a choreographer at 1 Mil studio. Before coming to WM Entertainment, she trained with WH Entertainment. She is currently the main rapper, lead vocalist and face of the group.
Seunghee
Seunghee was born Hyun Seung-hee on January 25th, 1996. Her place of birth is Chuncheon, Gangwon, South Korea. She stands at a height of 5 feet 3 inches and weighs 48kg. Seunghee is said to have had the most exposure of all the members of the group before her debut with the group – even though the details of that is a mystery. She is one of the group’s main vocalists.
Jiho
The cute singer who hates cucumbers and loves winter was born Kim Ji-ho on April 7th, 1997. Her place of birth is Okcheon, North Chungcheong, South Korea and her parents’ identity is unknown. Her educational background is also not certain, however, she weighs 49kg and has a height of 5 feet 5 inches. She debuted as a lead vocalist, lead dancer and visual of Oh My Girl band.
Binnie
Binnie was born on September 9th, 1997 as Bae Yu-bin. Her birthplace is Chuncheon, Gangwon, South Korea. She has an older brother who happens to be her only known family. The former child model stands at 5 feet 3 inches and weighs 49kg. She currently holds the position of a vocalist in the group.
Arin
Arin is known as Choi Ye-won. She was born on June 18th, 1999 in Busan, South Gyeongnam, South Korea. She hasn’t disclosed much about her family only the identity of her younger brother Choi Seokjun is known. She attended the Dongduk Middle School, then Seoul School of Performing Arts. JinE
JinE was born Shin Hye-jin on January 22nd, 1995 in Pohang, North Gyeongsang, South Korea. She was the longest trainee at WM Entertainment before she debuted. She joined the agency in April 2011 and debuted with the Oh My Girl band in 2015. However, JinE officially left the group on October 30th, 2017.

Why did JinE leave?
JinE was one of the original members of the Oh My Girl group. Unfortunately, she had to exit the group because of her health condition. She has an anorexia-a medical condition that causes a person not to eat due to lack of appetite. Recent information reveals that her health is improving. However, in other to enable her receive proper treatment her contract with the agency was terminated.
