Elway met Paige Green in 2005, two years after he got divorced from his first wife of 19 years, Janet Elway. They were man and wife from March 3, 1984, to December 29, 2003, when they finalized their divorce. Prior to their separation, they were already parents to four children; Jack, Juliana, Jordan, and Jessica Elway.
John and Paige met in Los Angeles at Marcus Allen’s golf tournament. Things heated up shortly after their first meeting and got serious once they officially became a couple. She moved to Denver a year later and John, feeling strongly about their connection decided to take the relationship to another level. Thus, he proposed while they were on a vacation in Italy and after an eleven-month-long engagement, they got married on the 29th day of August 2009, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, United States.
As yet, the couple does not have a child of their own but upon becoming John’s missus, Paige Green assumed the position of his children’s stepmother. Following his elite college football days at Stanford, John Elway started and ended his entire 16-year professional career with the Denver Broncos as a quarterback. At the end of his play days in 1999, he recorded the most wins by a starting quarterback and was the second most prolific passer in NFL history, statistically.
Furthermore, he was one of only two players and the only quarterback ever to score a rushing touchdown in four different Super Bowls (the other being Thurman Thomas). He is currently the General Manager and Executive Vice President of Football Operations for the Broncos.

Additionally, she joined the Adopt Don’t Shop program in November 2015 in line with her effort to bring down puppy mills across Colorado. She also teamed up with Anna Welker in December 2014 to host the inaugural ‘Bowl n’ Bark’ event. The event was geared towards providing foster homes for dogs.
