Piper Curda is an American actress and singer. She is primarily known for her roles on Disney Channel including the television show – I Didn’t Do It, where she played Jasmine Kang – an intelligent, smart, and fashion-conscious teenager who is always supportive of her best friends. She also starred in the Disney Channel movie, Teen Beach 2. She had a recurring role on Disney Channel’s A.N.T Farm during its third season.

Based on her choice of roles and the frequency of her appearance on Disney Channel projects, one can easily assume that most of her fanbase is made up of the young watchers of the channel, placing her in ‘teen idol’ territory.

Besides acting, she is also a singer and musician, she has released several singles including Messing With My Head, Letting Go, and Losing You. Her first movie role was in Nothing Like The Holidays, however, her role in the movie was minor and she was uncredited for her appearance. Piper Joy Curda was born on the 16th of August, 1997 in Tallahassee, Florida; however, she was raised in Chicago, Illinois. When she was young, she appeared as Roly-Poly Broadway national tour of The 101 Dalmatians Musical.

She has appeared in several other television shows, building her body of work; she appeared in Liv and Maddie, Body of Proof, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Malibu Country, Rizzoli & Isles, Rule The Mix, and Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja.

In 2013, she was cast in the lead role of Jasmine in I Didn’t Do It. The show ran from January 2014 till October 2015 and followed the lives of a pair of twins Lindy and Logan Watson, and their best friends – Jasmine, Garrett, and Delia – as they go through high school. The show was successful during its run and was a turning point for Piper’s career (as well as that of her co-stars), making her a household name among teens around the country.

Piper Curda also appeared in Save The Date, a short film by Wong Fu Productions that asked the question of who pays on the first date.

In 2014, she decided to branch into the music part of the entertainment industry and released her first single, Losing You, on the 15th of January and the accompanying music video was released on the 27th of January, 2014.

Her father is Stephen K. Curda, a United States Army Brigadier General and her mother is Leslie Kay (Henderson). She has four siblings; Glory Curda – her younger sister, Major Curda – her younger brother, Saylor Curda – another younger sister and Riley Curda – an older sister. Riley is also an actress and the two appeared in the musical, The King and I.

She is multi-racial as her father is Korean while her mother is of English and Scottish descent. Her father was adopted from Korea by Jack Joseph Curda and Barbara Yvonne. The surname ‘Curda’ is Czech.

Piper does not discuss her religion very often but she is a Christian.

Piper Curda has made the effort to keep her personal relationships on the down-low but she has admitted that she would not date anyone her friends did not like.

While on the show, I Didn’t Do It, she was rumored to have dated her co-star, Austin North, however, this relationship was never confirmed. But for confirmed relationships, she was in a relationship with, Jake Short – an American actor known for his roles in three Disney Channel television shows – Mighty Med, Lab Rats: Elite Force, and A.N.T Farm.

The actress is currently in a relationship with Troy Ogletree, an American singer-songwriter, YouTube personality, actor, and rapper. The couple has been together since 2017 and still very supportive of each other. Troy seems to have a type – exceptional woman. He was previously in a relationship with Fifth Harmony’s Ally Brooke.
