It was on 17 March 1976, that the wrestler who has gained fame as King Joe was born Nuufolau Joel Seanoa in Orange County, California. Since he was a little child, he has always been drawn to wrestling and thanks to a Polynesian dance troupe — Tiare Productions — that his parents formed, he got a stage to start performing as a dancer.
Although the first time Joe made his appearance was at the Summer Olympics opening in 1984 at the age of 5, his fame as a wrestler came much later. Before wrestling, he was an all-league football player in Ocean View High School as well as a State Junior Judo Champion.
