Rebecca was born Rebecca Louisa Ferguson Sundström on October 19, 1983, in Stockholm, Sweden. She was raised by her parents, in Vasastan, a prominent district in central Stockholm.
Born to an English mother whose name is Rosemary Ferguson, her nationality is Swedish. Her mother migrated from Britain to Sweden at the age of 25 and would later marry her father, who is Swedish.
