In Chicago, Illinois, United States, on June 21, 1991, the rapper was born to undisclosed parents who raised him in the Bronzeville, Chicago, before they relocated to the Englewood section.
It is not clear if Rico Recklezz attained any formal education but he became involved in music in 2012, though it was after his friend and fellow rapper was killed that he began to take the profession seriously. Most of the songs credited to Rico are controversial and were used to throw shades at fellow Chicago rappers. Most of his songs dissed Lil Durk and the latter retaliated with a track dubbed “L’s Anthem”, targetting Rico’s hip-hop crew WugaWorld.
