What Happened to The Actress’ First Marriage?
As earlier mentioned, many of us got to know Sage when her ex-husband John Lynch accused Tony Robbins of having an affair with her. According to John, Tony was the reason behind their failed marriage but Sage has denied all of John’s allegations.
Sage Robbins and John Lynch got married in 1992, the actress was nineteen at the time and John was thirty. Shortly after their separation, John came up with allegations against Tony Robbins, accusing him of having an affair with his then-wife. According to him, it was precisely after his ex-wife came back from one of Tony’s seminars that they started drifting apart until it eventually ended in a divorce.
Sage, however, denied the accusations stating that Tony was not the reason for the failure of their union. Following John’s allegations, some media outlets like Vancouver Sun came for Tony and even described him as a ‘wife thief’. This was not taken lightly by the popular life coach as he saw it as character defamation; he was eventually paid damages worth $20,000.
John Lynch may insist that Tony stole his wife, but hardly can anyone tell what really happened to the Sage-John union; whatever the underlying matter was, it is best known to the ex-couple.
How Sage Robbins Got Married to Tony
Tony Robbins may not be the reason for Sage and John’s failed marriage; the duo may have had a shaky marriage bound to collapse but hastened by Sage and Tony’s meeting. However, John may not be entirely wrong about his ex-wife having an affair with the popular American life coach and entrepreneur before their divorce. In fact, it is said that Sage and Tony dated for about two years before they tied the nuptial knot in October 2001, a year after her separation from John.
Whatever the case, it is good to know that Sage and Tony are still very much in love with each other almost two decades later. They are often seen together at events, especially Tony’s seminars.

Prior to his marriage to Sage, Tony was once married to Rebecca Jenkins. Upon marrying Rebecca in 1984, Tony adopted her 3 children. The life coach has another son with his former girlfriend, Liz Acosta. His name is Jairek Robbins and he’s Sage’s step-son. Sage Robbins and Tony are yet to have a child together and have not revealed if they have any plan to do so in the future.
