Popular Hollywood actress Sarah Emily Ramos was born on May 21, 1991, in Los Angeles, California, USA. She is of mixed ethnicity and an American by nationality. While there is literally no information as regards her early educational background, she is known to have earned her Bachelor’s degree from Columbia University in May 2015.

Growing up, she was known to spend a reasonable amount of time watching television shows. Through her love for watching TV, it was only a matter of time before she began nursing hopes of being a professional actress.

As the years went by, her love for acting grew stronger, making her enroll at Center Stage L.A at the age of 9 so as to learn the intricacies of being a professional actor. Having received adequate acting training, she took the Hollywood movie industry by storm in 2001, and it has been a story of constant elevation for her ever since.

Movies and TV Shows

Sarah Ramos’ first shot at acting came in the form of TV commercials before she got cast to play the role of Elizabeth in the short film titled In Vain in 2001. Her big break eventually came in 2002 following her role as Patty Pryor on the NBC American television drama American Dreams. The show which became an instant hit on its release was all Sarah needed to attain celebrity status. In 2003 she was awarded the Women Image Network Award for Best Actress in a TV Drama for her performance in the American Dreams.

In 2006, Sarah made guest appearances on an episode of Scrubs and Close to Home with her playing the role of Lindsay and Kirsten Sullivan respectively. The following year, she scored another role, this time as Hannah Raderin on the TV Show Runaway, but it was canceled after its first season due to poor ratings. That same year, she played the role of Jackie in the movie Walking Out on Love alongside Julie Bradford, Tyler Bosserman, and Alexis Raich.

In 2009 when NBC announced it would be producing a new series titled Parenthood, Sarah Ramos was cast to play the role of Haddie Braverman. For three seasons, she would feature as a regular on the show until its fourth season when her role was reduced to that of a guest role, following the move of her character to college. Ever since her role on Parenthood which saw her earn nominations for Favorite Supporting TV Actress at the ALMA Awards in 2011 and 2012, Sarah has starred in several other hit movies and TV shows such as Family Guy, Private Practice, Midnight Texas, Why Stop Now, The Long Road Home, The Boy Downstairs, and most recently, Ask For Janein wherein she took up the role of Maggie.
