Sharon Rachel Levy was born on October 9, 1952, in Brixton, London to music promoter and rock and roll entrepreneur Don Arden and his wife Hope Arden. Her parents were Jewish and as such, she became a practicing Jew. She is of Russian-Irish ancestry and has one sibling, a brother named David.
Sharon did not have a very rosy childhood as her father Don was a very violent person and did not spare his daughter one bit in his many feats of anger. To make a bad situation even worse, her mother Hope put up a pretty indifferent attitude to her husband’s alcoholism and abuse of their daughter.
She began her sojourn in entertainment by working with her father in his business as the owner and manager of Black Sabbath. After her marriage to Ozzy Osbourne, she took over his management and has not left the industry ever since. Her company manages a host of other artists successfully.
