Born on September 11 and in the year 1985, Shaun Livingston’s accomplishments in basketball have left his dad who started training him to be a sportsman when he was still a lad, a super-fulfilled and happy man.

With over twelve years of experience as a professional basketball player, the American currently mounts the point guard spot for NBA’s Golden State Warriors.

Before he joined the Warriors after his stint with the Brooklyn Nets, Shaun Patrick Livingston played for a handful of other famous teams which include the Cleveland Cavaliers, Washington Wizards, Milwaukee Bucks, Charlotte Bobcats, Oklahoma City Thunder, Tulsa 66ers, Miami Heat, and of course, the Los Angeles Clippers which was the genesis of his NBA career.

The bloke’s parents are Reggie Livingston (father) and Ann Wyman (Mother). One can’t say they brought Shaun up alongside his sisters – Sarah Aupperle-Livingston and Blair Wyman as Reggie and Ann parted when Shaun was only 2 years of age.

His parents meet at a nightclub in Peoria, Illinois. They danced and kindled a fondness for each other which saw them united in marriage two years later. They welcomed Shaun soon after but the marriage was fated to not last up to one and a half years. The Reggie-Ann union collapsed just after 15 months and Ann got custody of their son. But as it was difficult for her to stay around for her kid, Reggie took over the custody.

As such, the B-baller was raised by his father who worked with his own father (Shaun’s grandfather) Frank to prepare Shaun for what he is now known for. Nevertheless, the NBA star would agree he got his passion for basketball from his mother’s side. He once disclosed that all of her brothers played basketball.

From what we have gathered, she is one of the founders of Las Vegas’ Chung Marie Group, which take pride in describing itself as a full-service creative production company.

For reasons best known to Mr. Livingston, he has persistently strived to keep his relationship with Joey private. It was a very low-key wedding; even some of his pals in NBA didn’t get to witness the union. In facts, it said that those who did weren’t aware that they were attending a wedding, they thought it was only a party and, a party it was until the couple announced that they are getting married right off the bat, there and then. They did and have been living together in their Oakland home ever since.

His Salary

You don’t have to make speculations about Shaun Livingston’s salary, the latest three-year contract he inked with the Golden State Warriors in July 2017 is worth $24 million. This will see him pocket nothing lesser than $7,692,308 from the 2017-18 season through to 2019-20. The deal is guaranteed for $2 million.

Shaun has indeed come a long way as his earnings were on average, around half of the amount he currently earns when he was with the Los Angeles Clippers (2004 – 2008).
