Shinsuke Nakamura Wife, Age, Height, Weight, Body Stats, Is He Gay?

In professional wrestling, Shinsuke Nakamura is one of those guys you’d always want to get on the ring, his signature and finishing moves are terrific-cool and out of ordinary – thanks to his experience in mixed martial art.

It was in 2016 that the Japanese wrestler signed with WWE, but he has become very much admired and celebrate more than a good number of other wrestlers who have been with WWE while he was still an amateur wrestler.

Shinsuke Nakamura Bio – Age

Assuming the professional wrestler is one of such individuals who have a thing for celebrating their birth anniversaries, Shinsuke would be marking every 24th day of February. That was the date he was born, the year was 1980 and the place of birth was in Mineyama, Kyoto, Japan. However, the superstar currently resides in the United States of America; precisely, in Florida’s city – Orlando.

Quite unfortunate, our efforts to uncover the facts concerning the early days of the wrestler’s life which have been overshadowed by his eventful career have so far been unsuccessful. We traced the beginning of Nakamura’s professional wrestling career to 2002 when he reigned as one of the most phenomenal wrestlers in New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW). A number of factors facilitated his triumphs at NJPW but his ring action which is a blend of fast fierce smacks and strikes combined with submission holds helped him a great deal to get almost all of his opponents vanquished.

“The King of Strong Style” as he’s called, moved on from NJPW in style. He didn’t only emerge as the champion of IWGP Heavyweight thrice, but equally placed a record as the youngest wrestler to claim the prestigious title. Shinsuke would go on to replicate his fascinating skills and winnings at WWE NXT which culminated in him earning the NXT Championship title.

At this point, those who doubted his abilities started acknowledging it. Still, he surprised everyone when he came to SmackDown, downed ferocious wrestlers like Randy Orton, and conquered The Champ – John Cena. Nonetheless, his elimination of Romans Reigns at the 2018 Royal Rumble Match which saw him emerge as the winner is thus far, widely regarded as Nakamura’s greatest feat in WWE.

Following the Royal Rumble victory, Shinsuke Nakamura dared the WWE Champion, AJ Styles to dance with him in the ring. The WWE community loved this as it was anticipated that The King of Strong Style meeting AJ Styles would be a classic show, and it was. But then, AJ was the superstar that prevailed at the New Orleans’ Superdome clash of April 2018.

His Height, Weight, and Body Stats

Shinsuke’s image isn’t one of the pictures that would flash through your mind when you are asked to think of a typical wrestler. He doesn’t have enormous Biceps or such body structure that would scare the shit out of you like Brock Lesnar. He looks like an everyday guy until you see him unleash his amazing mixed martial art skills while wrestling to humble the big macho tough guys.

Shinsuke Nakamura is 5 feet 2 inches tall (1.88 m) and weighs 229 lb (104 kg). The details of his body stats are respectively 44, 34, and 17 inches for his chest, waist, and biceps.

Shinsuke Nakamura’s Wife

If you have to talk about the WWE superstar’s love life, you wouldn’t have to tell tales about him dating several women or having a girlfriend. Shinsuke Nakamura is a married man. Yeah, he’s been married for over a decade.

From what we gathered, the man has been husband to his college sweetheart, Harumi Maekawa since September 2007. You probably haven’t heard of this because the wrestler and his wife aren’t willing to entertain the public with the affairs of their private life. Owing to that, one can hardly tell if the Shinsuke-Harumi marriage has been blessed with kids.

Is He Gay?

Although it is not known to many that the Wrestling Observer Newsletter Hall of Famer is married and to a woman, it is at times suspected among those who are aware of his marital status and the wrestling community that Mr. Shinsuke is gay.

While we had a hard time tracing the source of the suspicion, we eventually got to learn that it was essentially the wrestler’s bearing, deportment, and somewhat graceful body carriage that has been fueling the suspicion.

Disregarding that, there is no fact, whatsoever that can be used to substantiate that the wrestler is gay. As he is married to a woman, it is most likely that the wrestler has always been straight.
