Stanley Tucci was born in Peekskill, New York, United States, on the 11th of November 1960. His father, Stanley Tucci Sr., worked at the Horace Greeley High School in Chappaqua, New York, as an art teacher while his mother, Joan Tucci (née Tropiano), worked as a writer as well as a secretary. He happens to have two younger siblings of which one of them, Christine Tucci, is an actress.
In the early 1970s, Stanley’s father took the whole family back to Italy where they spent a full year. This move was done in order to familiarize him and his siblings with their Italian heritage and it sure paid off in his later years.
For his studies, Stanley Tucci was enrolled into the John Jay High School where he was also on the baseball and soccer team.
