A video game designer, producer, and director, he is best known for producing the Fallout and The Elder Scrolls video game series through the Maryland-based developer, Bethesda Game Studios. Howard’s love for video games can almost be said to be innate. As a young boy growing up in Lower Macungie Township, Pennsylvania, Todd Howard developed a huge passion for gaming. Some of the games he played at the time included Wizardry and Ultima III: Exodus which would come to have a huge influence on him while he developed his own games.
Being an uber privy fellow, Todd Howard’s birthdate remains an enigma to the media. He is said to have been born either in 1970 or 1971. Howard attended high school at Emmaus High School in Emmaus, Pennsylvania from where he graduated in 1989. Despite the college degree, Howard was again denied at Bethesda but the company finally gave in in 1994.
The first-person shooter game, The Terminator: Future Shock, as well as SkyNET, would be the first of many successful games that Todd would develop for Bethesda. The gamer has earned many accolades for his developing skills, they include; AIAS’s Best Gaming Director Award in 2012, the Germany Lifetime Achievement Award; Lara of Honour in 2014. A number of his games have won the Game of the Year award too.

One of the talking points of the interview which drew much attention from the gaming community was when Todd revealed that he conceals details of the release of his future games from his own son.
