Tomeeka Robyn Bracy was welcomed into the world in 1975, in Northern Virginia, U.S.A. Her exact date of birth and the identity of her parents is however unknown. Going by her place of birth, it is evident that she is an American by nationality and Afro-American by ethnicity.

Just as details about her parents are not known, it is not clear whether Bracy has any siblings or is an only child. Other facts about her early life and childhood, such as where she attended school, are not public knowledge. But if reports about what she did for a living before meeting Stevie Wonder are anything to go by, Bracy certainly received some level of education. It is reported that she worked at The Monroe School in Washington, D.C before abandoning that job to live with her husband.

1. Tomeeka Robyn Bracy Is Stevie Wonder’s Third Wife

Tomeeka, who had dated Stevie Wonder for a few years before they got married in 2017, is the third wife of the musician. The multiple Grammy Award-winning musician was first married to Motown singer Syreeta Wright from 1970 till 1972 when they amicably divorced.

Wonder remained unmarried for close to thirty years, before exchanging marital vows with fashion designer Kai Millard in 2001. His marriage to Millard fell apart in 2009 when they separated. He later went ahead to file for divorce in 2012, as the court ordered him to pay his ex-wife $25,000 a month in child support.

2. Wonder and Bracy’s Wedding Was a Lavish Ceremony

According to reports,  Stevie Wonder and Tomeeka Robyn Bracy exchanged vows at the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles in a lavish ceremony. A number of celebrity guests were said to have been in attendance, including singers John Legend, Pharrell, Usher, and Babyface who all entertained the guests and the newly wedded couple with performances. Wonder himself was also said to have hit the stage at some point to sing to his lovely wife.

3. Tomeeka Is As Old As Stevie’s First Child

There is a huge age gap between Tomeeka and her husband. To put it into context, she is of the same age as Stevie’s first-born child, his daughter – Aisha whom he had with Yolanda Simmons in February 1975. Wonder and Simmons also had a son named Keita, born in 1977.

Other children which Wonder fathered include a son named Mumtaz Morris with Melody McCulley, a daughter, and a son named Sophia and Kwame with a publicly unidentified woman, sons – Kailand and Mandla Kadjay Carl Stevland Morris with second wife Kai Millard Morris, and two daughters, one of whom is Nia, who he had with Tomeeka Robyn Bracy. In total, he has nine children by five different women.

4. She Has Children From a Previous Relationship

While there are conflicting reports in regards to the exact nature of the relationship between Tomeeka and the father of her children, Terry Lee Junior Fair, as a few publications write that they were married while others just label the union as a relationship, the two welcomed three children to the world. They have two daughters; Bri Sche’ Milan and Kenya Tare’ Fair. The third child, a son named Izaiah, died in 2005 after falling from the window of their apartment.

The two-year-old had been left unattended by his mother for a short period of time as she went into the kitchen. As the story goes, Bracy heard a loud scream and quickly rushed to her baby, who she found lying on the ground outside. One of her daughters was said to have immediately called 911 for help. The distraught mother was said to have been looking to pick her son up and rush to the hospital when emergency services and the police arrived. The boy was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital. An investigation was subsequently conducted by the police, however, nothing was found against Tomeeka Robyn Bracy.
