Trey Lyles Career
Trey Lyles began building his basketball career from high school with the support of his dad who has been his basketball coach cum trainer. During his freshman year in 2010, he committed to Indiana but later de-committed in 2012.
On November 5, 2013, Lyles signed a letter of intent to play and study at the University of Kentucky. He averaged 23.7 points, 12.9 rebounds, and 3.5 assists during his senior year and led his school team to the IHSAA Class 4A State Championship game in a 63-59 win over Lake Central.
At the conclusion of his senior year at Arsenal Tech, Lyles was voted as the state of Indiana’s Mr. Basketball. He didn’t have a good start on getting into college at Kentucky on June 12, 2014.
