Vin Diesel, born Mark Sinclair Vincent is an American actor, director-producer, and screenwriter. He is most popular for his role in the movie, Fast and Furious as Dominic Toretto and has been the brains behind several other films such as Multi-Facial and Strays. Vin Diesel was born in Alameda County, California in the United States of America, on 18th July 1967. He was raised by his mother Delora Sherleen Vincent, who is an astrologer and a psychiatrist, and his stepfather, Irvin H Vincent. Vin Diesel never got to know his biological father though, which was rather unfortunate.
Before his Hollywood career, Vin worked as a bouncer in two famous clubs in New York, Tunnel and Mars, from where he earned the nickname Diesel, which is really no surprise given his robust body build.
Vin has been named a real-life hero after he saved a family from a flaming vehicle in 2002. He is however very silent on his personal life, and he insists that he has no need for publicizing his private affairs, citing his multiracial identity as one of the reasons he prefers to keep his life a secret.
