Mindy Kaling has been in the public eye since she made her first on-screen appearance in the second episode of the American mockumentary TV series, The Office. Her flawless portrayal of the character Kelly Kapoor didn’t only win her a great deal of attention from the show’s fans but also a slew of awards from numerous nominations in the movie industry. The Office star was born by Indian parents in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in the U.S, on 24th June 1979. Her real name is Vera Mindy Chokalingam and her home town is Boston, Massachusetts. Kaling’s dad, architect Avu Chokalingam and her mom, obstetrician/gynaecologist Swati Chokalingam, raised her alongside her only brother Vijay Jojo Chokalingam who currently works as a college admissions consultant. When the news of the actress’s pregnancy hit the air in 2017, the world couldn’t help but wonder who the father of her child could be as Mindy wasn’t seeing anyone publicly at the time neither was she even married. It’s been a while since her daughter was born, yet the actress has not come forward to name the man who made her a mother. While Mindy Kaling is well within her right to hide the paternity of her daughter, her decision to keep her fans uninformed about the identity of her baby daddy has given rise to lots of speculations and unsolicited attention from the public.
Kaling may have been tight-lipped about her baby daddy but that hasn’t stopped fans from having their suspicions as to who her baby daddy could be.
