American actress and dancer, Briana Evigan was the breakout star of the Step Up sequel; Step Up 2: The Streets where she portrayed the role of Andie West. She reprised her role in the 2014 sequel Step Up: All In.

Briana Barbara-Jane Evigan was born on October 23, 1986, in Los Angeles, California to actors Greg Evigan and Pamela C. Serpe. Her mom Pamela, in addition to being an actor, was also a model and dancer. Apparently, Briana inherited her parent’s acting and dancing skills as she began dancing at a very tender age.

The artistic genes were also passed on to her siblings; brother Jason who is the frontman of the rock band After Midnight Project and sister Vanessa Lee who is an actress. Briana is the youngest of her siblings. She is of Italian and Polish ancestry.

Briana was super active as a kid, playing soccer and dancing. By the age of 9, she began taking dance lessons to perfect her skills.
