Beyond being an American actress, Clea Duvall has fared well as a producer, writer, and director. She is best known for the variety of roles she has played in several movies including She’s All That, The Faculty, Girl, Interrupted, But I’m a Cheerleader, 21 Grams, Conviction, Identity, Argo, and The Grudge. This actress was named Clea D’Etinne Helen Duvall after she was birthed on September 25, 1977, in Los Angeles, California, to Stephen DuVall and Rosemary Hatch. She has no siblings as she is the only child born to her parents. Her father is also in the acting industry and has found some fame in his career as well. He appeared alongside Clea in a couple of episodes of the series Carnivale. Clea attended the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. Upon graduation, she worked a low paying job in a coffee shop to make ends meet.

She made her first movie appearance in a low-budget horror flick called Little Witches. Subsequently, she starred in a couple of independent films and made guest appearances on several episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and ER. Her big break came in 1998 when she played a goth girl in high school in the movie, The Faculty. Her next big role came in Can’t Hardly Wait, which became a cult classic amongst teenagers.
