Emily Atack is an English actress who came into the spotlight with her astonishing performance in the E4 comedy series The Inbetweeners, playing the role of Charlotte Hinchcliffe. Since then, Emily has gone on to appear in Tracey Ullman’s Show, The Keith Lemon Sketch Show, and several other shows.

Who Is Emily Atack?

Emily Jane Atack was born on 18th December 1989 in Luton, Bedfordshire. She has a solid background in the film industry, having to watch her mother, who is an actress, while growing up. The young actress revealed that she was bullied in school just for the mere fact that she came from the showbiz family and also for wearing makeup.

She made her debut performance in the crime drama series, Blue Murder, playing Kelly Land in 2007. Still on crime dramas, she featured in Heartbeat as Cathy Dee in 2008 and played a Cranchesterford teenager in Victoria Wood’s Mid Life Christmas the following year. She, however, got her breakout role in the British sitcom, The Inbetweeners where she played Charlotte Hinchcliffe, the most attractive girl in school.

In 2010, she went out of her usual career path to take part in the British television show, Dancing on Ice which was about celebrities partnering with professional ice dancers. The show saw Emily Atack having ice skater – Fred Palascak as her partner. Though she was keen on it as was her partner, they were voted off in the eighth week.

In 2011, Emily Atack made an appearance in the comedy film, Outside Bet also known as Weighed In: The Story of the Mumper. Between 2014 and 2015, she got roles in films such as Almost Married, Unforgivable, The Hoarder, Dad’s Army, Broken Glass, and Ibiza Undead. The young actress also displayed her presentation skills when she presented a public service announcement with the title, Ready, Steady, Drink in which she highlighted the dangers of drinking alcohol. She has also appeared as a guest on several television programmes such as Rock and Chips (BBC), I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here and The Keith Lemon Sketch Show.

1. Net Worth

It is reported that The Inbetweeners Star has an estimated net worth of £300,000. The Sun speculates that she could be receiving as much as £40,000 for each of the reality shows she appears in.

2. Emily Atack’s Family Life

Her father, Keith Atack, is a music composer but was previously in the British pop group Child which was very popular in the 1970s. He began his career with Child just playing the bass guitar and then switched to lead guitar. The Pop group was best known for their hit song titled Its Only Make Believe. Her mother Kate Robbins, on the other hand, is an English actress, comedian, and songwriter who became a sensation when her song More Than in Love ranked at No. 2 on the UK Charts.

3. Relationship with Sir Paul McCartney

Rather surprising is the fact that Emily Atack is related to one of the greatest composers of all time, Sir Paul McCartney. Emily’s grandmother is the link as she is Paul McCartney’s first cousin. Irrespective of Paul’s fame, Emily admits that they have a cordial relationship and that Sir Paul is really concerned about members of the family. The music legend is also reported to have taken interest in Emily’s work.

4. Relationships And Dating

Emily Atack is one of the few celebrities who would readily admit to dating someone instead of playing coy. At the moment, however,  she is single but she is hoping to find a lasting relationship.

Over the years, she dated Jack Vacher for five years before the pair decided to go their separate ways. She reportedly had a fling with , shared a romantic moment with comedian Seann Walsh and very recently was reported to have a thing with Big Brother Star, Ziggy Lichman, although she quelled the rumor by admitting that they were only friends.

 

5. In The Jungle

On 12th November 2018, it was announced that Emily will take part in the reality series of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here with other stars such as Noel Edmonds, , Fleur East, Rita Simmons, and Harry Redknapp. Emily Atack was elated because she wanted to do something unexpected.

She clearly tried to adapt to the lifestyle in the jungle for the reality show, and after some days, it was obvious she had lost weight and was glad. Her mother, Kate Robbins was also supportive and was ready to spur her to victory. She outdid herself and ended up in second at the end of the show, trailing behind Harry Redknapp who came in first place.
