Emma Tremblay is best known for her role in the hit CW superhero TV series, Supergirl, where she played Ruby Arias, a character who makes her debut in the show’s third season. Her character is the daughter of Samantha Arias (played by Odette Annable) the unwitting alter ego of the Kryptonian supervillain Reign. Emma’s introduction to the show was well received and her apparent talent and dedication to the character were applauded.

Emma Tremblay was born in Vancouver, Canada on the 21st of April, 2004 to Jason and Christina Tremblay. Her father, Jason, is a police detective while her mother is a homemaker. Emma has two younger siblings – Jacob and Erica. Though Emma’s parents were initially hesitant about their kid’s acting, they have remained supportive of their children and try their best to ensure they remain grounded even as they achieve success and fame.

Emma comes from a close-knit family and they currently live in Langley, British Columbia, Canada.

2. It Runs In The Family

Emma is not the only member of her family involved in the entertainment industry. Her younger siblings are also actors and they have both found success as well.

Jacob Tremblay, Emma’s younger brother, was born on the 5th of October, 2006. The young actor has found tremendous success in the industry already. Though his feature film debut was in The Smurfs 2, he found international exposure with his role in the Academy Award-nominated film – Room. He also managed to take home several awards for his performance in the film. Jacob has gone on to star in several films including Wonder, The Predator, Before I Wake, The Book of Henry and The Death And Life Of John F. Donovan. Erica Tremblay, Emma’s sister, was born on the 16th of August, 2009. Much like her older siblings, she has already found recognition in the entertainment industry. She is best known for her roles in Imaginary Mary, Before I fall, Extinction, The Bye Bye Man and A perfect man. She has also had guest roles in supernatural and The Killing.

At her age, Emma Tremblay has already racked up quite an impressive body of work. She made her first appearance on TV in 2013 with the movie Let It Snow, followed by the science fiction action film Elysium, where she played Matilda Santiago – a child with leukemia. The following year, in 2014, she starred in the highly anticipated dystopian science fiction film – The Giver, where she played the role of Lily.

Emma Tremblay also had roles in the television series Wayward Pines and The CW’s Supergirl.
