He attended Chartiers Valley High School located in Collier Township of Pensylvania and after graduation, he went to the California University of Pennsylvania where he played college football.
Following his exceptional skills in the sports alongside his determination to make a successful career, Kush made his way to the national level after he was drafted by a professional team known as the Kansas City Chiefs, in the sixth round with the 170th overall pick of NFA’s 2013 draft. This was on September 5, 2015. The following day which is September 6, he was claimed off waivers by the Tamper-based football franchise, Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
On the 16th day of the same month of September, Kush was signed into the Carolina Panthers’ practice squad but was released on October 27, 2015. The Texans released him on November 15, 2015, and the Los Angeles Rams took him up only to waive him off after ten months as part of their final roster cuts
Kush finally teamed up with the Chicago Bears. He was claimed off by the team on September 4, 2016, and that same year, he made four starts and eight appearances. On February 15, 2017, the Chicago beers decided to extend its contract with Kush but the year couldn’t end well for the young player as he was ruled out for the season’s game after he suffered a torn hamstring while training in camp.
