Biography – Who Is Logan Marshall-Green? 

Logan was born on November 1, 1976, in Charleston, South Carolina, to Lowry Marshall and Russell Green. His mother was an art director at Brown University’s theatre department, while his father was a drama teacher, an actor, a playwright, and a director. He attended Barrington High School, moving on to the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. While there, he was a writer for The Daily Beacon, the school’s newspaper, focusing on music, theatre, and entertainment. Afterward, he attended the National Theatre Institute in Connecticut, and the Tisch School of Arts, where he bagged a Master’s degree in Fine Arts.

Growing with parents who were drama teachers meant that Logan was always surrounded by acting, so it came as no surprise that he found joy in performances and decided to pursue acting professionally. He began his career with minor roles on the hit television series, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in 2003, and Law & Order in 2004. This paved the way for recurring roles on shows like 24 and The O.C. His incredible performance in these roles brought him fame, recognition, and acclaim.

Logan Marshall-Green retained his love for the stage and continued appearing in plays including Neil LaBute’s The Distance from Here which won him a Drama Desk Award in 2004. He also appeared in productions of Bus Stop like Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead, King Lear, and Swimming in the Shallows, in which he played a shark.

He made his debut film appearance in Alchemy, which was quickly followed by The Great Raid. Logan Marshall-Green went on to star in other successful movies such as Traveler, Across the Universe, Brooklyn’s Finest, As I Lay Dying, Madame Bovary, and Devil. In 2012, he gave a spectacular performance in Ridley Scott’s Prometheus, and it became the biggest breakthrough in his career. Subsequently, he starred in The Invitation, a horror film that earned him the Fangoria Chainsaw Award for Best Actor. His latest cinematic acting was in the Marvel action and adventure film, Spider-Man: Homecoming. Logan Marshall-Green has also tried his hands at directing. He released his directorial debut, Adopt A Highway in 2018.

 

His Family – Wife and Siblings

Logan is married to Diane Marshall-Green, a Mexican-American actress. She also attended the prestigious Tisch School of Arts and runs her own production company, LocaBella Productions. She has produced Infestation, Pizza Face, Other People’s Children, and other movies. The lovebirds said “I Do” in an intimate ceremony on December 12, 2012.

Logan and Diane have two children together: a daughter named Culla Mae from Diane’s relationship with her ex, Johnny Lewis, and a son named Tennessee Logan, born to the couple on April 11, 2014. The family continues to live together happily, and there are no signs of that changing anytime soon.

Logan Marshall-Green is one of those people who hail from a rather large family. He has one full sibling, his fraternal twin brother, Taylor. The two look very much alike. Unlike his brother, Taylor shunned the spotlight in favor of a much quieter existence. He was once married to Eva Nagorski, the American writer, and is now married to a woman named Natalie Hersh.

On his father’s side, Logan has 10 other siblings, 7 half-siblings and 3 step-siblings. His father has been married 4 times and these children are from those marriages. The names of his half-siblings are Patricia Green Rimmer, Judith Green Howard, Russell Frederick Green, December Aletha Green, Forest Whittier Green, Blaire Dobson Green, and Jennifer Green-Bazzle. His step-siblings are Elizabeth Beasley Richardson, Bridgette Beasley Wolfe, and Joann Beasley Aucoin.
