Madison Hu is a rising Hollywood actress whose role as Frankie on the Disney Channel series Bizaardvark didn’t just show her hidden talents and potentials but also announced her to a wider audience. The first time we were introduced to the young actress was in 2013 when she played a minor role on Jason Bateman’s comedy film Bad Words, but her first TV credit was in 2011 I Kid where she starred alongside Brad Garrett. Later on, she appeared as Marci on the Disney Channel 2015 series Best Friends Whenever.

Madison Zirui Hu was born in Longview, Texas on June 2, 2002, to parents of Chinese descent, her parents moved to Southern California when she was only two years old. Hu has an older brother who was born in China.

She has been acting since she was seven. She actually got her first acting role through a friend who had a film manager who got her roles. Hu usually followed her friend for rehearsals and it was in one of her rehearsals that the manager thought it wise to get her a role too and that was how she eventually got on the big screen.

Her first TV credit was in 2011 when she appeared in a minor role in I Kid alongside Brad Garrett. Her major role came two years later as a spelling bee contestant in Jason Bateman’s comedy film Bad Words. In that same year, she starred in The Goldbergs and in Tosh.0 the following year (2014).  She also appeared in few episodes on Grace and Frankie and The Kicks.

In 2016 she landed the role of Frankie on the Disney Channel series Bizaardvark, which is the most prominent role so far in her acting career. She co-played the lead alongside Olivia Rodrigo who played the role of Paige. The duo had such chemistry on screen that one would think they had been friends long before starring in the series, but really, they only met for the first during the audition, but according to them, “No none believes us”. Though Madison began playing the piano since she was about seven or eight, she played the guitar for the first time in the show and liked it.  According to her, The show has grown her love for music in playing the guitar, singing, and performing in front of people. Her best music genres are pop & rap music.
