Being of Italian descent, Marisa Tomei was born on December 4, 1964, in Brooklyn, New York where she spent a good part of her growing up days with Patricia Adelaide Tomei and Gary A. Tomei and her paternal grandparents. She was also raised with a brother who happens to be an actor, Adam Tomei.
