Michael John Myers was born in Scarborough, Toronto on the 25th of May, 1963 to Eric Myers, an insurance Agent and Alice Myers, a Royal Air Force veteran. Both of his parents were from Liverpool, United Kingdom but relocated to Canada. He has two older brothers – Peter, who works for Sears Canada and Paul Myers, the indie rock musician.
Mike, who was raised Protestant, is of Irish, Scottish and English descent. The actor also holds British, American and Canadian citizenship. He attended the Sir John A. Macdonald Collegiate Institute and later attended the Stephen Leacock Collegiate Institute, where he graduated from in 1982.

In 2006, Mike met and began dating Kelly Tisdale, a café owner. The two got married in 2010 in a secret ceremony. They currently have three children together. Their son, Spike Alan was born in 2011, their daughter – Sunday Molly – was born in 2014 and their second daughter, Paulina Kathleen was born in 2015.
Mike Myers currently lives in New York City with his family. He is an avid Dungeons & Dragons player. He is also a hockey fan and supports the NHL’s Toronto Maple Leafs.
