The date was 5th December in the year 1985 when Shikhar Dhawan was born in Delhi, India. He was raised by his parents, Sunaina and Mahendra Pal Dhawan alongside his sister, Shreshta in his birth country.
For his education, the cricketer attended the St. Mark’s Senior Secondary Public School, but a greater part of his time was spent at Sonnet Club where he trained under coach Tarak Sinha, under whose guide more than 10 cricketers have become international stars.
