Although the names of her schools are unknown, it is actually on record that she competed in volleyball, basketball, and tracks during her high school days. She has one brother (younger) named Jayden.

In June 2016, Simplynessa15 shared the story of how she was stalked and assaulted severally by someone she thought was her friend. According to her, the supposed friend had followed her and her friend to their hotel room even after she tried stopping him, then her friend left the room, the guy tried to sexually assault her, even as she tried to push him away.
Even after that encounter, he refused to let her be, she had to block him on all forms of social media, this didn’t stop the stalker, who continued sending her messages from fake numbers and new Instagram accounts he created. The Youtuber said her reason for wearing and rotating wigs pretty much was to disguise herself so well the stalker wouldn’t recognize her.
Many have actually accused the sensational Youtuber of making up several of her stories to gain popularity on the internet. Simplynessa15 denied the rumors and slams those perpetrating the rumors about her online.

In a video titled I like girls too (a coming out video) uploaded in May 2016, the YouTuber revealed her true sexual identity. In the video, she says she is bisexual and is attracted to both men and women.
According to her, it has been that way since she was 14-years, and she has had to push the feelings aside because her family was not supportive of homosexuality but and that at this time of her life, she needed to come out of the closet and let people know who she really is.
She further revealed that she has been in female-on-female relationships and that her last one was in December 2015. “I am able to connect with both a girl and a boy on a physical, emotional, and mental level. So, I now know exactly who I am,” she added.
Following other controversies that trailed her other stories, some actually thought she must have also made up these stories to gain fame, but watching the video critically, it is definitely obvious that Simplynessa15 has not over-exaggerated or faked this particular video.

The YouTube star had posted an 11-minute video of her shaving her head, she claimed that adding more and more extensions has damaged her natural hair and made it sparse, so she was shaving everything to start all over again, the result was actually cool and made her look chic.
