Like most privileged American kids whose parents are quick to spot what they are naturally apt for, Taylor’s parents enrolled her in acting courses when she was as young as 9 years old, she would also later attend Phoenix Theater’s performance Troop to study dance and acting and it was here that she honed her acting skills the more with short roles in commercials.

Taylor Dooley caught significant public attention when she appeared on a national commercial for Famous Footwear in addition to being seen in an ad for Mary-Kate and Ashley clothing line, Honda’s Odyssey minivan, and Disney Superstar Kids. With these exposures, the Michigan native became friends with the likes of now celebrated American actress AnnaSophia Robb, Sasha Pieterse, and Ryan Newman in the cradle of her short-lived acting career.

Taylor started off by making an appearance in a small role on the medical drama series House M.D. which also featured Hugh Laurie. With a move to the Golden State (California), Tayboo (nickname) landed the role of Lavagirl in the fantasy family adventure film titled The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lava Girl in 2005 alongside television favorites like Taylor Lautner, Cayden Boyd, David Arquette, Kristin Davis, and George Lopez. Subsequently, she garnered such enormous fame that people became agog to see her in more roles, thus, more screen time came her way.

We saw Taylor Dooley again in Apology, the horror/comedy Monster Night, and White Paddy. Next came a guest appearance as Rachelle which she made in the 2008 hit television series House, the sequel to this, the 2009 movie The Alyson Stoner Project had her on set with the cameras rolling on what became the last time (for a long time coming) movie watchers saw Taylor Dooley on screen.

Taylor Dooley has made a comeback to acting with a role she played in the 2016 horror movie Hell Mountain.

She is currently a married woman to her longtime boyfriend Justin Cassotta. The couple was first friends, then began a 2-year dating relationship which saw to their May 14, 2016 marriage. Their union has since seen to the birth of their first child, a boy named Jack Alexander Cassotta who was born on November 23, 2016.

In the not-so-distant future, we expect to see Taylor Dooley make a full comeback to acting.
