Tran revealed in an interview with ABC News reporter Amy Robach who is also a breast cancer survivor that her main encouragement came from her husband Ken who did all he could to ensure she was stress-free during the treatment. She also said that her treatment process collided with the filming of the movie The Hangover which turned out to be a very therapeutic movie for Tran who would laugh at the hilarious stunts Ken was pulling in the film as a Korean-speaking Vietnamese. This lightened the mood between the couple and the actor also revealed he felt he was romantically communicating with his wife while shooting the movie which pushed him further to give his best to the film.
