He was born on June 8, 1959, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to his father, Walter Fletcher who was a field worker, and mother-Ogie Rea Fletcher who was a stay-at-home wife. Fletcher has a sibling who happens to be his older brother – Walt Fletcher. His family later relocated to Watts, California when he was merely 12 months old and later on, they would move to Compton, California where Fletcher spent his adolescent days.
According to reports, CT Fletcher lived with a cruel dad who later became a cleric and owned his own Christian place of worship in Lakewood, California. He is a citizen of the United States of America and is of the Black race. He had his first job at a filling station at the age of 12 and was later a military personnel after he became a part of the U.S Army in 1977.
