The beautiful Carly Pope is a Canadian actress who was born on the 28th of August 1980 in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Carly began her professional career with very insignificant roles which included roles in movies like Night Man and Snow Day. Her big movie break came in 2004 when she appeared on screen as Maya Kadaniski in the movie, The Collector.

Born into a family of three, Carly has two other siblings. Her older brother is also an actor who is named Kris Pope and her younger brother is Alexander Pope. Very little information is available about her parents.

She attended High School at the Lord Byng Secondary School which was beside the University of British Columbia. Carly at an early age developed a flair for acting. While she was still in High School in Vancouver, she appeared in plays such as The Odd Couple and Midsummer Night’s, to name just a few.

On the 29th of December in 2009, Carly Pope and her brother Kris were driving a black BMW in downtown Vancouver when a 31-year-old man identified as David Fromrades jumped in front of the car and asked them to run him over. When Carly’s brother Kris got out of the car, the man jumped in and drove the car into the CBS Studios. The pair suffered injuries especially Carly who suffered a cracked rib and two broken vertebrae. Her brother suffered injuries to his ankle and bystanders at the scene of the crash were injured as well.

Carly as a child had an interest in acting, she was a stage favorite back in High School and was a regular in-school theatre play. These performances helped in honing her acting talents from a very young age.
