At the moment Kait is a retired meteorologist, but nevertheless, she made her mark in the world of journalism. Kait is known for being very talented and often captures the audience with her smile and easy going yet professional approach to being on TV, she is well known for being the host of ‘America Morning Quarter’.
The meteorologist is a Texan, born and bred and her love for her state shows in everything she does, as she believes that ‘ no matter how many years you have spent outside of the state, your heart is still shaped like the Lone Star.’ Some would even say that with all her focus and dedication she is definitely on her way to being the best weather personality and meteorologist in the world.
Before retirement, she worked for The Weather Channel as their meteorologist and weather forecaster. She also worked for channels like WFAA-TV and WAKA-TV prior to that. So what does a person have to study to get a sweet gig like Kait’s; she went to the University of Missouri and graduated with a degree in Atmospheric Science, which is just perfect for her choice of career. Besides her obvious love for her career, she has some other pretty cool interests.
In her own words, ‘ Wanderlust is an understatement’, she loves to travel and it is not only a past time for her, she is one of those people that plans a trip while she is on a trip and there is so much to learn about her outlook on life. She believes that there is a difference between travel and a vacation. She also believes that travel is not a luxury, but a necessity for everyone and can be done on any budget.
These days she is looking to enlighten people from all works of life on how to travel and more importantly when to travel. So, we will definitely be on the lookout for that.
Kait Parker Engaged/Married

Kait isn’t married at the moment, but do not be so quick to jump into her DM’s, as she is engaged to be married to her longtime boyfriend Michael Lowry, who happens to be a hurricane expert. We bet that they have so much in common and as such, we are not surprised that they click so well.
She shared the great news of their engagement on Twitter, in October 2015 after it was officially broadcasted by Kate’s colleague. Al Roker announced their engagement on the show, ‘America Morning Headquarter’ when he found an official statement about it on her website.

He is an American meteorologist who works for The Weather Channel. Some of you may know him as the hurricane specialist or the storm expert. Prior to that, he worked at NOAA’s National Hurricane Center in Miami, Florida.
He was raised in New Orleans, near the Mississippi river and the hurricanes inspired him to later pursue a career in the field. His career started when he was in Washington, as a weather expert for the U.S Department of Defense, working to protect U.S interests from hurricane threats all around the globe.
