The actress was born Kelli Marie Giddish on April 13, 1980, in Cumming, Georgia. She was brought up by her parents, Charles Giddish and Nita Giddish alongside her brother, Eli Giddish.

Like many other very successful actors, it was since the time she was a child that Kelli decided she wanted to be an actress. This passion would be refueled by her grandparents who gave her much support.
