Lauren Blanchard was born on the 13th of October 1990 in the United States of America. Lauren was born as one of three kids in her family, of which she is the only girl while her two other siblings are both boys. One of her brothers is an Army Ranger graduate.

Considering her last name, some people have often wondered if her family is in any way related to James Blanchard – former United States House of Representative member, 45th Governor of Michigan and United States Ambassador to Canada. After the completion of her high school studies, Lauren Blanchard enrolled at the University of Michigan in 2008 to study communications. By 2012, the would-be journalist graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communications and set off to begin her career professionally.

However, before this time, Lauren had already started practicing journalism at WOLV-TV which is her university’s student-run TV station.
