Paul Heyman is a wrestling manager, producer, and writer who has managed big names in the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) such as Big Show, Brock Lesnar, and Rob Van Dam. Since he made his debut as a manager when he was still in his early twenties as far back as 1986, Heyman has risen to become an important part of the wrestling community, choosing to refer to himself as The Advocate, CEO of The Dangerous Alliance, and sometimes Agent instead of referring to himself as a manager.
Paul Heyman Bio (Age)
September 11, 1965, was the day Paul Heyman was born in Westchester County, New York by Sulamita Heyman to Richard S. Heyman.
Heyman was the kind of kid who grew up rather very fast and he didn’t waste any time to start his first business even before he was 11. He started a mail-order before later deciding to build his life in the arena. He got his education from Edgemont High School before moving to Westchester Community College. While he was there, he worked with the WARY-FM New York which belonged to the college.
Where he got to become famous, however, is in the wrestling business into which he ventured in the 1980s. As soon as he became a teenager, he started out as a photographer who was always in the arenas taking pictures of pro wrestlers. The only thing that beat that for a boy yet to be 15 was that he also started his own newsletter known as The Wrestling Times Magazine while he was also writing for the Pro Wrestling Illustrated.
Still, even before hitting 15, he landed his first pro wrestling work when he contacted the World Wrestling Federation and was given a Madison Square Garden backstage pass. All through, his father would remain one of his strongest motivations even though he worked as a personal injury attorney.
Heyman would continue handling different gigs in the wrestling community until 1988 when he moved on as an announcer and a manager. In years to come, he worked in the World Championship Wrestling, Extreme Championship Wrestling, and World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment under the names Paul E. Dangerously and Paul Heyman.
Having had what can best be described as a great career, he has won a number of accolades such as the Pro Wrestling Illustrated manager of the year in 1992, Wrestling Observer Newsletter Best Booker (4 times), and Best Non-Wrestler (6 times). More so, he got inducted into the Wrestling Observer Newsletter Hall of Fame in 2005.
Wife (Marla Heyman) and Family
Heyman is a family man who got married to Marla Heyman years ago. While there is not much that is known about Marla or even how she met the man who later became her husband, it is known that the union produced two children, Azalea Heyman who was born in 2002, and Jacob Heyman who was born in 2004.
Although you will find many platforms still referring to Marla Heyman as the wrestling manager’s wife, the two are no longer together. Just as the year they got married is not known, so also is it with his divorce. What is known, however, is that Paul has custody of their kids.
Since the end of his marriage, there is no public info about Paul Heyman being in any relationship with anyone else.
His Net Worth
Heyman has thus far, had what can with ease be described as a very successful career as a manager, having managed many great wrestlers including Brock Lesnar who was the second-highest-paid wrestler in 2016 when he took home $6 million. More than that, the manager has also spent a long time in the world of wrestling.
That said, Heyman has a net worth that has been estimated at $10 million. He made a large chunk of his fortune from his activities as a wrestling manager and announcer as well as a writer. In addition, he has also been able to add to his earnings from his various businesses, having been in business since he was only a child.
Height and Weight
Although he has not been in the ring as a wrestler, Paul Heyman still has a height and body build that could help one survive as a professional wrestler. He stands at a height of 5 ft 9 in (1.75 m) with a bodyweight of 232 lb (105 kg).
