Skandar Keynes Bio, Age
The English actor was born on the 5th of September 1991 in Camden, London. His full name is Alexander Amin Casper Keynes but we mostly know him as Skandar Keynes. Skandar was born to Zelfa Hourani (mother) and Randal Keynes; an English author and conservationist who is the great-great-grandson of Charles Darwin. In the actor’s family is his only known sibling and elder sister Soumaya Anne Keynes, an economist at the Institute for Fiscal Studies who has also worked in BBC Radio 4.
Skandar Keynes had his primary education at Thornhill Primary School from 1996–2002, but before he graduated in 2002, he enrolled at Anna Scher Theatre School where he studied from the year 2000 till he left in 2005. After his time at the theatre school, he enrolled at City of London School (2005) then by October 2010, he began studying for his degree in Arabic and Middle Eastern History at Pembroke College, Cambridge where he subsequently graduated in 2014.
He began his acting career with a role in the TV documentary Queen Victoria Died in 1901 and is Still Alive Today (2001) as the character Walf, next came his starring in Ferrari (2003) as Enzo Ferrari; an 8-year-old in the film. He made his big break in the acting industry with a role in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (2005) as Edmund Pevensie. While he was acting in the series, his voice changed as a result of puberty for which reason his elder sister’s voice (Soumaya Anne Keynes) was used in certain parts of the movie.
Skandar Keynes reprised his role as Edmund Pevensie in The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian T4 Film Special (2008), and The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader in 2010 after which we last heard his voice as Sir Allan Kerr in the audio drama The Extraordinary Adventures of G.A. Henty: In Freedom’s Cause (2014).

Skandar Keynes was first known to be in a relationship with Rebecca Swinton in the year 2005 but by the following year, they had separated for some unknown reasons. In 2010, the British actor was again rumored to be in a relationship with a fellow English actress Georgie Henley. The two reportedly first met in 2004 during the filming of Narnia. However, neither of the screen stars have confirmed their relationship.
On the question of his sexuality, Skandar Keynes was at a time rumored online to be gay. Other than this, the actor has not come out as gay or debunked the rumors. Being that Skandar Keynes had what can be considered a relatively short-acting career, or better put, starred in a few films before he went under the radar, a lot of people have wondered what he is up with at the moment and where he is now. We did too and sought information about his whereabouts.
His last recorded work as an actor was in an audio drama titled The Extraordinary Adventures of G.A. Henty: In Freedom’s Cause (2014). Since this project, Skandar has not been seen in any film or audio work lately. However, we know for certain that he now works as an English political adviser for the Conservative party. For this reason, we are no longer seeing him as an actor in films and television series. Similarly, being that he got famous as an actor when he was pretty young, he has changed a lot in his looks which pretty makes it obscure for many people to identify him when they do see him.
