Cassie was born Casandra Elizabeth Ventura on the 26th day of August 1986. She was born and raised in the seaport city of Connecticut. Her father is Filipino while her mother has African American, Mexican and West Indian ancestry. She attended William School in New London Connecticut and she graduated in 2004.
Cassie Ventura began modeling as a young teenager and among several notable modeling gigs, she appeared on the popular teen magazine Seventeen. She later began taking voice and dance classes following the advice of a music producer.
